The first even Dunder Mifflin “uncommon” Stockholders’ meeting was a resounding success Saturday as all in favor voted for Dunder Mifflin to go public. Hundreds attended the event which drew out Oscar and Darryl from the Scranton Branch and David Wallace from corporate to make sure all went well. Thanks to members of The Northeast Theater and the Scranton Chamber of Commerce for making sure the event went off without a hitch!
The first even office convention in Scranton, PA also saw a few other office stars make surprise visits to The Mall at Steamtown, Mindy Kalins (Kelly) stopped by to check out the mall and get some photos taken on Saturday, Andy Buckley (David Wallace), Oscar Nunez (Oscar) and Craig Robinson (Darryl) all took part in the performance on Saturday afternoon and Phyllis Smith (Phyllis) Leslie David Baker (Stanley) and Melora Hardin (Jan) all stopped by on Sunday afternoon to take some photos with there cardboard likenesses as well as a photo at the “Welcome to Scranton” Sign (below).
Most prominently of all Co Executive Producer Kent Zbornak atteneded the performance on Saturday and after meeting with fans and signing autographs actually signed a lease agreement for 10 square feet of space in the mall’s center court making “the office” a permanent tenant at the mall!
We here at The Mall at Steamtown were very honored that these cast members took time to stop by the mall, they were all so very nice to everyone that if its possibly to be bigger fans of the show than we were, we are now.
