Change is an ongoing process, and being prepared is their top priority. Officials from The Mall at Steamtown, the Scranton Police Dept. and the Scranton Fire Dept. met Tuesday, November 20th. The meeting addressed the forthcoming appearance by Drake Bell from Nickelodeon’s hit Drake and Josh show. Drake Bell will appear at The Mall at Steamtown on December 8th. In order to make the event a positive and memorable experience for all who attend, extensive planning has been essential. The partnership with the City law enforcement is nothing new. “Extensive preparations go into every event at the mall. Public safety is paramount. We’re meeting as we always do, taking into account the last successful event and improving upon areas where the public feels we can do better,” stated James Walsh, Vice President of Property Management for Prizm Asset Management Company. “We’re working with city and county officials and taking all necessary steps to make the Drake Bell appearance enjoyable for everyone.” For people attending the event on December 8th, get to the mall early, be respectful of those waiting and watching with you, and enjoy the experience. A limited number of tickets will be given out through promotions tied to the event. Everyone else will get to enjoy two acoustic performances by Drake Bell during the event.
